Saturna (part two)

IMG_4756IMG_4743 On day two we stumbled upon this great little picnic table just above shell beach at East point. We weren’t alone. A big beautiful bird was soaking up some sun on a tree near us. We initially thought that it was an eagle (not really birders over here) but after we got home we checked out some images online. Turns out our feathered friend was a red-tailed hawk (we think?). My husband was determined to get a good shot of this bird. Well done, husband.
