Last week, we met up with auntie C at Aldor Acres. After a few years at another pumpkin patch, it was fun to try something new. There was so much going on there that we really didn’t spend a lot of time in the pumpkin patch, and instead spent time checking out and feeding the farm animals.
Singing pig – that way!
The sweetest three-day-old piglets.
Not pictured: when four large goats jumped up on my sister and nibbled on her finger. I figured since my sister had a pet goat as kid (seriously, who has a pet goat?), that she had it under control.
Heading out on a hayride to the pumpkin patch.
When we first arrived, this field was full of dense fog, and crows were circling around. Talk about a real life haunted house!
This kid, always picking flowers.
Right before she kicked it into high gear and started bolting through the patch. Pumpkin vines: 1 – J: 0 – ah, life lessons.
Here we’re poking a little fun at my Dad who recently raked “I love U” into the giant carpet of leaves in his backyard (a little something sweet for my Mom). Dad, here’s the waaaaay easier version! We love you.
And just for kicks, here’s one of my favourite throwbacks – a face-off between the pumpkin princess and toddler J.
Have a great week!
